About the role:
As a Business Development Manager, your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
Converting prospects into successful customers through customer sales methods such as door-to-door, cold calling and presentations.
Forecasting sales and developing sales strategies and methods evaluating their effectiveness.
Acting as a representative for the organisation during customer meetings and presentations.
Maintaining customer accounts and records of sales.
Reporting and providing feedback to management.
Job requirements
Your experience:
This position would suit an experienced Business Development Manager and is the perfect role for someone with an impressive track record in a sales role, who is confident with a consultative sell, and who can demonstrate success in new business development and client acquisition.
Other requirements include:
Great confidence and the ability to accept rejection and maintain a positive mindset.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Active listening skills and the ability to understand the customer’s needs.
Ability to manage own workload and diary effectively using own initiative.
Proficiency with computer software and Microsoft Office.
Strong negotiation and presentation skills.
In-depth understanding of an organisation’s products and unique selling facts.
Excellent data analysis skills.
Full clean UK driving licence with the flexibility and willingness to travel throughout the UK when appropriate and able.
